This 1.5 CE 'Lunch & Learn' aims to clarify our definition of neurodiversity amongst clients. We will review updated literature regarding the relationship between neurodivergence and related diagnostic categories, which have greater overlap than previously understood. Participants will gain tools to address the roots of distress for this population, which are largely environmental and systemically based. We will also discuss the increasing prevalence of self-diagnosed neurodivergence resulting from online discourse.
